Clean, mechanically solid 1979 528i. The long block was completely rebuilt in 2009, during which time the 4-speed manual was swapped out for a 5-speed with a new clutch and release bearing. Engine and transmission mounts are new, and it feels very nice to drive.
You can drive this car across the country without any worries.

I charged the A/C and it did blow cold, but the freon all leaked out within about 30 minutes. There are a handful of small rock chips on the hood, and a small chip on the driver's door. The paint is decently shiny, but could really use a good polish.
The car is so much fun to drive, and extremely reliable. It cruises smoothly on the freeway and gets decent mileage as well.
