Selling my manual 5spd DOHC M42 1.8 L 1991 BMW 318is coupe E30
In the winter of 2012 i decided to buy a alpine white e30. One of the most sought out e30s as this year doesn't have the chrome bumpers, strictly plastic. When i originally bought it, the girl needed some work. So i took care of her. Grinding hours under the hood replacing the timing belt, water pump, thermostat, spark plugs, all the gaskets, rebuilding the head, installing a completely new magnaflow exhaust system, changing the oil/filter, new air filter, sealing and replacing cracked hoses, all four brand new tires w/100% tread, new battery and plenty more.. On the other hand some things I didn't get around to including brake pads, right rear c.v. joint. She idles rough in low rpm, possibly a vacuum hose. For a 22 year old M42, she is light and nimble around corners. A perfect car to drive in rain or snow. Working Sunroof with power windows. Solid and straight body with no signs of rust. Some dents & scratches here and there, nothing major. Interior is average, cracked dash and worn leather seats, no glove box. With the odometer still working she's pushing 203k miles. I personally hand washed and detailed her weekly. Clean title in hand. OEM all around.
As much as i love her, with me going into the USN i just can't keep her anymore..
