FS - 1991 Golf - 58k Original Miles
Yesterday 03:29 PM Edit / Delete #1
I've decided I have to get rid of one of my three cars, and after long deliberation I've decided to get rid of my Golf. The Golf was a one-owner before I got it and it was stored much of its life (on a trickle charger). The previous owner traveled for work and did not drive it all too often, hence the mileage. I did a lot to improve on the car, and it turned out to be an even better driver than it was - super fun and very very reliable.
Mods in the last 6 months:
Koni Coilover Suspension - New vr6 front mounts and heavy duty rears (Can go much lower)
GTI Tear Drop wheels and NEW Kumho tires.
ABD short shift kit along with a Momo knob
Techtonics Tuning exhaust - 2 resonators
Techtonics Tuning 8V chip
GTI Seats
GTI Door Cards
Tinted windows (mod??)
Recovered headliner in Black - AMAZING!
Recovered Parcel shelf in black - everything looks factory and matches very nicely.
Yakima roof rack with basket and one bike holder.
Stere
New Alpine Head Unit - Auxiliary and 1/8th inputs on front of deck
New Panasonic front and rear speakers.
Wire for a sub - no sub or amp included
Mainteneance
New timing belt
New water pump
New thermostat
New belts (power steering, ac)
Converted to r134a and recharged (Coldest A/C - colder than my 2013 X5)
Full tune - plugs, wires, filter, oil change, etc.
I have all the maintenance paperwork back to the original owner. She took very good car of the car and it's truly oen of a kind. Body is very straight, no accidents that I can see. There may have been some paint work due to some color I can see on the rear window moldings. And like most 20yr+ cars there are a few dings here and there. All the gaps in the doors, bumpers, trim, etc are all perfect. Doors close butter smooth. Original keys and all work just like new - doors, glove box and hatch. Crack free dash! Too much to list - car drives perfect on the highway, fun, and pulls through all the RPMs (at least as much as a 8v can). I'm sure there is more to this car I'm forgetting and I'll update the post if I remember anything.
I'm asking $6000 and I'm pretty firm. May have some room for the right deal. I know it's a premium price but with all the recent mods, maintenance, and overall condition of the car I think it's worth it.
