So I'm throwing up my '98 GTI for trade. It currently has 198k miles, but don't let the miles fool you. This car is clean. It's wearing original Silver Arrow paint, which is quite rare, and has a black leather interior. Whats even better is the incredible lack of rust. The floors are rust free and so is most of the rest of the car. There is some surface rust near the rear fender arches and some near the rear side windows. Other than that, there is no rust. I bought the car back in November last year, but have quickly realized I'm not meant to be in a FWD car. I'm not looking for a sale, but rather a straight trade. Would really like an E30 or a B5 A4 or really anything else as long as it's manual and not FWD. And please don't offer an unfinished project car or something that's beat. Suspension/drivetrain:
-H&R cupkit
-R32 control arm bushing upgrade with poly mounts in the front
-new tie rod ends and ball joints
-new driver side axle
-fresh alignment
Exterior:
-dual chamber e-code headlights
-textured rub strips
-OEM Hella Smoked tail lights
-de-badged(still have emblems)
-rear wiper delete
-Also have OEM sideskirts , but missing the strips or them
Cons:
-paint on hood and roof is beginning to fade
-driver seat has a small tear in it.
-typical paint chips on front bumper.
