Fairly rare E28 BMW 533i 5spd, this was produced in '83 and '84 only in the American market. Was at the time, the fastest production sedan in the U.S. Takes me to and from work every day, no problem. It still pulls good to redline, and the clutch still grabs solid. Previously owned by a local mechanic.
Original manual, all original interior/pant. The interior and body are actually in pretty good condition. I encourage you to test drive it to really get a feel for it.
Specifics:
• Tabs good until May 2014
• M30 3.2l Inline 6cyl motor with about 200k+ on it
• 5spd transmission - same miliage
• Original suspension components, but still drives well - not bouncy.
• Great condition black leather
• Headliner is not sagging (Common issue)
• CD player
• Paint is in pretty good condition, the color hides the years well and still looks good when clean
• All lights are working properly
Really, it's a cool car. Still gets lots of looks and questions because it's the 533i, and not the common 528 and 535.
May be interesting in trading for a a Volkswagen, Audi, Volvo, Saab, I'm really pretty open. It would have to be an even trade - or your car + cash.
