  • FS: 2003.5 mystic blue E46 M3 vert

For sale in the St. Louis, MO area (Belleville, IL to be exact) for $17,500:

2003.5 BMW M3 (E46) mystic blue convertible (blue rag top) with 6 speed SMG transmission. I bought it June 2011 with 74,000 miles in Queens, NY from a NYPD officer and drove it back to Mascoutah, IL 62258. It now has about 82000 miles. Engine is completely stock. No SMG or convertible top problems.

The previous owner had Inspection 2 done by his friend that was a BMW tech in the year that he owned it. All four brake calipers are freshly rebuilt (as of January 2012) and also a brake fluid flush was done (with ATE Super Blue). It has new slotted/dimpled black zinc coated rotors, PosiQuiet pads, and Stoptech SS brake lines.

I'll list everything else that was done:
-Status Gruppe Tuning SRS coilovers with camber plates and machined RSMs (alignment done after 400 miles at Alignment Specialists in St. Charles, MO)
-Status Gruppe Tuning adjustable sway bar endlinks
-Turner Motorsports adjustable rear lower control arms (you can pretty much dial in as much or as little negative camber as you want)
-Front Rogue Engineering strut tower reinforcement plates
-beefy front strut brace (brand unknown)
-19" VMR VB3 rims (19x9.5 +22 in rear and +40 in front) - matte black
-Continental ExtremeContact DWS 245/35/19 in front and Nitto Invo 275/30/19 in rear. Rears are new with only 5000 miles on them.
    -Eurospec CF GTR hood
    -Eurospec CF side skirts
    -ACS CF rear diffuser
-Eurospec CF Hamann style fog light moldings/brake ducts
-Strassentech rep CF front lip molded into front bumper (cracked clear coat)
-fenders rolled flawlessly by Nocturnal Motorsports in St. Peters, MO
    -Vorsteiner carbon/kevlar engine cover
    -6000k angel eyes
    -Pioneer AVIC N4 navi/dvd/ipod
    -smoked 6000k LED side markers
-new OEM windshield wiper blades installed
-kidney grills, hood vents, and side mirrors are painted dark gunmetal
    -20% tint
    -6000k D2S hid bulbs
    -rear decklid spoiler

Not installed but will come with the car:
-new 6 NGK Iridium spark plugs
-new DDM projector fog lights (I have 6000k and 10000k bulbs)
    -new DDM 6000k headlight bulbs
-5-6 liters of Castrol 10W60 (only BMW recommended oil) and BMW oil filter
-new 2 replacement headlight lenses (cool feature of the M3 as many of you know.. don't have to replace the whole housing)

Very sharp car, but I wanted to repaint the front bumper, rear diffuser, and hood vents if I kept the car because of rock chips and stress fractures in the paint. I had a full professional detail done in the Fall 2012 and it has been in the garage 95%+ of the time since. It's all cleaned up and ready for the new owner. My detailer says the paint is very nice for a 2003, but as the owner I am hypercritical of everything lol.. Transmission can shift as soft as you want it or as hard as you can imagine. The ride is kind of rough as I have the car pretty low, but it can be raised. The coilovers are nice.. 18 way adjustable with linear springs of 8kg (448lbs) up front and 8kg (448lbs) in the rear. They were installed in Feb 2012 and only have a few thousand miles on them.

    Reason I'm selling:
I just bought a house and that money saved each month will be my payment towards real estate taxes. At least this way, I won't have to change my way of living.

In addition, I have all the BMW GT1 (DIS, SSS, and TIS), INPA (Ediabas), NCS Expert, WinkFP software and can make a copy for you. You would just have to buy the D-Can (obd2) interface. I'm keeping mine in case I get into another bmw down the road.

price is negotiable. Flickr is dumb and won't let me post the pics directly on this page unless someone can tell me how.
