1986 535i w/manual. odo stopped at 135k but has estimated 400k. tons and tons of new parts, but still needs work. I was planning on tearing the whole car down to start over soon but decided to sell instead. I do daily it on and off, but never taken it long distance because of the lack of exhaust would make you deaf. heres a ruff list that i can recall
GOOD:
soft built m30, head work done for new valve seats and guides
getrag trans with new shift bushings, clutch still has meat left
no rust minuis LR behind bumper
front bumper mounts shaved
e34 rear bumper
cut springs
all new steering
overhauled rear subframe with new bushings and added toe and camber adjustments
16" style 5 wheels
6000k hid kit
1/4 steel skid plate
all good glass
all power windows work
rear diff serviced
added a headunit, amp and speakers
wood grain steering wheel with custom hub that needs to be cleaned up
BAD
some times runs ruff, other times run fantastic. was waiting to get exhaust done to diagnosis it.
oil leak from timing cover, just needs to be regasketed
no exhaust, its really loud
hydro boost leaks
typical dings and scratches for a car of its age, little damage on LR quarter
