Hey Stanceworks,
Up for sale is my 1982 BMW 320i. The car is a blast to drive and has been very well maintained. All fluids are replaced, new gas tank, new tires, new exhaust (including a new cat), new plugs, new wires, new steering rack bushings, new brake pads, new drums, new speakers, new headunit, etc, etc. The car recently passed inspection last month so the sticker will last you for another 2 years of worry free driving. I don't think twice about taking it down the shore or on longer trips which is one of my favorite parts. The car is currently being used as my daily so the mileage is subject to change (right now the odometer reads 147,xxx).

That being said, the car is not perfect but, for its age its rare to see another car in its condition. The exterior is original paint. Very minor swirls for its age and still has nice reflections (for being safaribeige). It does have an occasional ding which is expected for its age and mileage. The tail light lenses are also cracked.

The M10 pulls strong, oil is replaced regularly. Flushed the coolant last weekend (including removing the radiator and reverse flushing it and drained the block). The clutch is still strong, no slipping. The transmission is great for its age. None of the typical 2nd gear syncros grinding.

The interior is also in decent shape. The only flaws in the interior are the driver seat has a small tear on the seam (although the foam was replaced), the shift boot has a small rip, and the dash is cracked. Other than that it's extremely presentable.

Overall, It's a great car and I believe the next owner will really enjoy it. The e21 is a very easy platform to service, everything is pretty straight forward. With the age of this car you can put historic plates on and save even more money on insurance. I receive a ton of compliments weather its at a car meet or just at the gas station running errands. It's not common to see another one of these in the area especially in this condition.
If you have any questions about the vehicle feel free to PM me, Email: Ericmarionis@hotmail.com, or call/text 908-705-3936. I will include a bunch of extra general maintenance parts (gaskets, hoses, etc.) I've been stock piling with the sale. I am asking $3250.00 which I believe is a very fair price. I look forward to your offers and best of luck with your car search!
