1994 BMW 540i Black on Black
4.0L V8 Engine
Clean title, I am the 3rd owner, 182,000 miles, currently daily driven
Engine replaced by dealership at 90k miles (Nikasil recall, with receipt)
Engine runs strong, transmission shifts smoothly
Suspension is in great shape, no steering wheel vibrations at any speed
All lights, power windows, and door/trunk locks work perfectly
Heated seats work
Factory stereo and all speakers work
Car is completely stock
I replaced the trunklid due to faded paint, which is why it has a 525i badge. I still have the original trunk/badge and can include it if desired.
These cars are getting difficult to find in any sort of good condition. I looked at several of these with blown/rotted suspension, hoodrich stereo setups, and all kinds of dash warnings before finding this one. If you've been searching for a nice, original condition 540i, this one is definitely worth a look.
Issues:
Air conditioner does not turn on, but the compressor works and it does blow cold when jumped, possible HVAC control module issue
There are some rock chips on the hood, but the rest of the paint is in good condition with no oxidation.
