  • FS: 1985 535i E28 Low on ACSs

For sale is my 1985 535i with 204K miles.
It's a great car. I daily drive it around the UNCC area for work and school. During the time that I've had it it has been flawless.

    For mods the car has:
    Engine:
    Stock for now
    Custom Intake
    Ireland Engineering racing ignition wires
Custom made exhaust using E46 330i resonating section
    Cat delete

    Suspension:
    Bilstien sport shocks
    Stock cut springs

    Wheels/Tires:
Genuine ACS Type 2s 18x8.5 all around
    205/40 Nankang AS-1 Front
225/40 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus Rear
    75mm Motorsports Hardware stud conversion
    NRG purple lug nuts

    Body/Exterior:
    Front Euro bumper
    Euro headlights
    Pfeba front air damn
    Shadowline trim
    Black Euro grills
    Euro rear bumper
    Pfeba rear valence
    Rolled front fenders
Rear fender liners cut and fenders pulled
Yakima roof rack with custom bars and slats (made with red oak and stained with a dark cherry walnut)
Tail lights red (normally yellow) and blacked out inner lining.

    Inerior:
    Sony 52x4 head unit
    4 Polk audio speakers
Pioneer 1300 watt sub w/ ported box
    CB Radio in glovebox

This car has been featured on the BFI octoberfest page, Zero clearance, and won best in show at the Hendrick BMW Northlake car meet.

Those are mods now for History.
The car has near perfect maintenance history. Dating back to the vehicles purchase. I have the original service booklet stamped by the dealer and the original window sticker. After that there are receipts for just about everything that has been done.

I myself within the last 10K miles have done
    Diff flush (red line)
    Trans flush (red line)
Brake flush (ATE super blue racing)
New front pads and rotors (pads and rotors have been bedded)
    New CV boots
    Fuel filter
    Oil change at 203k miles
Car was detailed wash/wax/polish in the first week of January

Other than that it's just been driven. It's a great car. The powerplant is in great shape. The car also has a new ECU DME and fuse box.

    The only bad parts are:
Drivers side power head rest is off track and won't go up
Recently the front tire pulled the passenger side front fender in and cracked the paint. (It has been rolled back out and just needs to be re painted.)
Passenger side hood hinge out of alignment and is disconnected. (I have the hardware and shock which is still good it just needs to be aligned.)

The car will also come with:
Valve cover gasket (valves don't need adjustment I just bought it to be proactive)
    Motor mount
Ford Taurus side skirts (common add on for e30s they also work for E28s.)
Front custom made E36 M3 splitters for the pfeba lip
    Axle boot
Coilover sleeves (I was working on building a coilover setup for the car)

Price is $6000 with the ACSs or $5000 with the stock bottle caps.

Text me at 919 three six zero 0124 for more info I'm looking to sell but will trade for an E36 M3 not much else.
Not really in a rush to sell but really want to get back in an E36.

This is the only seat with issues.

Also forgot it has an optima yellow top for the audio system. It's brand new. I also have the trunk liner I just left it in chapel hill. And the door cards are all perfect. And every single vacuum line and the intake boot are brand new less than a month old
