  • E36 Convertible. $2500 (PA)

    This car is a 1994 325ic shell.

My brother and I put it together from a shell using our vast supply of e36 parts...we have more e36s than two guys need and this is the least practical so its up for sale.

It's surely far from perfect, but it gets me back and forth to work and is a blast to drive.

    1994 325ic 5 speed
    200K chassis/trans/rear
    210K NON-vanos M50 from auto 92' 325i
NO ac, NO cruise, NO rear seats, Airbags are no longer functional.
Heat works awesome. I only use the roof on really rainy days
Cd player that gets the job done.

-Rollbar made from pieces of an old cage we had around, looks cool, is welded in well and would likely be beneficial in an accident but don't plan on passing any racing tech inspections with it as it was really put in as a novelty thing for fun.

-Bilstein front struts with H&R springs. Apex rear springs/raceland shocks.

-Replica m3 front bumper, lux skirts

    -17x7.5 OEM DS1s with 235/45/17 all around

    -Black seats in decent shape

-Top is in good shape, a few flaws no major damage. The car does get pretty wet inside on really rainy days, I'll show a buyer where I think the water is coming in. (looks like where the top actually meets the body)

    FLAWS:

This car is fun, and a great daily driver for me. However, if you're a wuss stop looking. It's somewhat rough around the edges, has few ammenties, and is essentially a frankenstein of a car. If you're looking to have a PPI done, find a more expensive, cleaner example.

If you're looking for something fun to enjoy, keep reading.

-Top seals leak under heavy rain

-Body, paint, interior are presentable but far from perfect. 4-5/10 at best.

-Second gear syncro is bad. Goes in every time but grinds 90% of the time. 1st will grind if you're not almost stopped.

-Muffler is cut off, i'll send it along if you want it.

-Needs a left front ball joint, I'll include a spare control arom with good lcabs and ball joints.

-Windshield cracked on passenger side, doesn't effect view but would likely fail inspection.

-Smokes a bit on a cold start on a cold day.

-Slight misfire for the first ten seconds of running on a cold start.

Any questions, ask. But if you're looking for a mint e36 please don't waste my time.

Price is very firm at $2500. Don't offer me less, I love driving this thing and won't sell it unless it goes for what I feel it's worth.

    Located in Denver, PA 17517.

TEXT me at 717-271-8781 or pm me with interest.

I forgot to take photos with the roof up on these wheels and suspension, for reference only, these wheels are NOT for sale!:

Make me an offer I can't refuse!

I believe the cold smoke may be an early sign of future head gasket failure, although compression numbers were fairly decent.

Price is very negotiable if i throw a set of stock bottle caps on for a sale.

                Wow a decent deal!

Top seals leak under heavy rain
                Don't drive in heavy rain

Second gear syncro is bad. Goes in every time but grinds 90% of the time. 1st will grind if you're not almost stopped. A little bump n' grind can be dealt with for a deal like this.

Muffler is cut off, i'll send it along if you want it. People give away their stock mufflers all the time, swoop on one of those!

Needs a left front ball joint, I'll include a spare control arom with good lcabs and ball joints. Kind of a PITA, I'd ask the owner really nicely if they'll fix this before hand

Windshield cracked on passenger side, doesn't effect view but would likely fail inspection.
                $100-130

Smokes a bit on a cold start on a cold day. No CEL, No care.

Slight misfire for the first ten seconds of running on a cold start. See above.

                Others:

                New fender: $100
Paint front bumper, rear bumper, fender, side skirts: $350
3 Screws for license plate: $0.45
                Misc Interior pieces: $20

A good lookin E36 prolly good for another 30k miles = $0.089/mile & when it does croak there's $600-$800 worth of parts you could sell pretty quickly thus costing you $0.062/mile!

Cheap Cheap Cheap miles! If you were over here in CA I would strongly consider buying it!

                Good Luck with sale!
