  • FS: 1993 BMW 525i 5 speed in PA

This is my Dad's car that I'm putting up for him, if you're interested just PM me and I can give you his contact info. The car is located in Allentown, PA.

The car's a 1993 525i 5 speed black on tan and it has 181,xxx miles on it, the mileage will go up a bit as it is still being driven. The car was bought about 3 years ago with around 160k on it and at the time of purchase had just had a new radiator put in. Just last week the car had a very good condition used flywheel and clutch put in as the old ones had gone. All the windows go up and down and the sunroof works. It also has heated seats.

Item's replaced since buying the car:
    water pump (w/metal impeller)
    thermostat
    thermostat housing
    front sway bar end links
    battery
r1 rotors and ceramic pads on all corners
    spark plugs
    heater valve
    heater hoses
    hood struts
    new floor mats

i think that's all, but I will update it if needed

    mods:
    JVC radio
    ZHP shift knob
    black chrome exhaust tips
    smoked front corner lights
16 inch style 5s with 225/55 firestone firehawk wide oval, around 80-90% tread left
16 inch Mille Miglia wheels with 225/55 bridgestone blizzaks with around 80-90% tread

The paint could use a good polish, and the clear on the top of the front and rear bumpers has peeled off. There are a couple of dents here and there, the biggest being on the drivers side front door. The interiors in ok shape, the seats have been redyed but could use some touching up. The dash was also dyed due to it being discolored and is a bit lighter than it was before.

    other things wrong:
drivers seat adjusts weird, it has a twist to it if you try to adjust it a certain way
a/c works but has a leak and slowly uncharges
    interior lights don't go on

    Price:
$2,500 with both sets of wheels, $2,000 with one set (you choose), $1,500 with no wheels, you provide your own.

    onto the pics!

I think I saw an easy fix for that seat twist somewhere.

Thanks for the heads up, I looked it up and it seems pretty easy.

When I get a chance I'll try to fix it and I'll post back up.
