FEELER: FT '73 Beetle Sedan

THIS IS A FEELER

I posted this last year but i have since done a tremendous amount of work to her. I love my beetle, but I will be moving soon and I just want to see if anyone throws up something easier to work on/maintain/or store in my new home.

'73 beetle sedan. odo says 8k but she's probably turned twice. OG 1600, dual port, 30pct solex carb, 009 Dist, fresh plug wires and battery. Car has 0 air leaks, Runs great, cold or warm. Ext. painted 1 year ago (mk5 rabbit white) so it is fairly fresh. Brand new carpet. Brand new 5.5" OEM 8 slot steels. Custom cut lowbacks, engine overhaul (new valves, pushrods, rockers, 36hp shroud, heater channel/thermostat delete, jtubes, all new tins, platinum grey painted intake, plenum, gen stand, shaved and painted bay) TONS of part addons and replacements. PM if you want more info on things ive redone.

4" narrowed beam, drop spindles, monroe gas shocks, rear 2 outer (all can be adjusted upon request)

car will be 100% tuned, valves, new dist./rotor/points/condenser

100% open to anything youd like to throw at me but im not a new car guy, this car is 40 years old and Id like to stay old so unless youve got something special or unique thanks for looking. Starting price is 7k obo on to pics.

Not rust free, very few surface rust locations as the car was recently sanded/primed/painted and the pan has been pulled and rewelded for spots, chunks, and holes, but theres still rust. The shell is in good condition but its a 40 year old car.

Recently redid all window and door seals so she does not leak but i do not drive this car in the rain. But i wash it weekly and have no issues.

its been fantastic, i love this car to death and i dont really want to trade/sell it but if i can be convinced to a new project ill try it out but, this car brings a smile to literally EVERYONES face. age doesnt matter, meet so many awesome strangers that just wanna sit in it.
