Up for sale is my 1997 Golf Four Door with a vr6 motor and trans from a DE gti. The chasis has 170k on it while the motor and trans have 119k. Timing chains and water pump were done at 117k and all four wheel bearings were replaced at 118k. Car has a stage 1 clutch with roughly 5k on it (shifts and grabs flawlessly). It's a manual transmission with black cloth interior.
Pros:
Timing chains done at 117k
Water pump done at 117k
Clutch only has 5,000 miles on it
All four wheel bearings replaced at 118k
Aftermarket headunit with ipod hookup
Beetle headrests
Magnaflow catback exhaust
Auto-Tech cold air intake
Chipped (not sure of the brand)
Inspected till 4/13
Almost no rust even though it has 170k on the body
No check engine light
No coolant system problems/ leaks
Wired for subs and amp already
Jetta front end
5 lug swap
Cons:
Paint isn't in the best condition
Turn signal relay needs replaced
Passenger side taillight needs replaced
Passenger mirror needs replaced (just the glass is cracked)
The reason for me selling the car so cheap is that I already found the car I want to buy next and I'm trying to pick it up this weekend. I will not go any lower than $2500 which is already a steal. No trades please. Pics:
