This is one of my dads cars. He bought it to screw around since he has a slight 123 obsession but just needs to get rid of it since its not being driven much. He paid $2,000 for it over a year ago and replaced the transmission with one out of a 85 TD, did the rear axles, brakes, and other misc maintenance. Its cleaner then your average 123 but its not a show car. The car has a ton of life left in it both as a daily and as a project. The body is pretty clean minus a dent in the trunk from a tree hitting it last winter and the interior is clean minus typical dash cracks. The seats are mint.

It has around 200k Miles I cant remember exactly how much right now.

    It needs:
    - A rear main seal (which is is probably going to change)
    - Driverside seat spring
    - Kick down on transmission to be connected (the newer trans had a different linkage but its an easy swap and he may change that too)

He will sell it for $2k firm. He's not interested in losing money on the actual car and rather keep it as a weekend car. Considering the transmission replacement and other maintenance done it isn't a bad deal. The car has made the journey from where he lives in NC to Boston and back 4 consecutive times and really does run great.

Yea my dads in no rush. He lives in Greensboro and has several cars down there and keeps this one in Boston for when he comes to visit. It just sits in his garage in Boston unless he's around then its being driven.

He just resealed the trans the other day because it was leaking a little (the swap was done outside in his yard in NC so he had to fix a few tidbits) and flushed the trans fluid. It shifts smooth and doesn't leak ANYTHING now. He also repaired the vent valve in the air filter box so it smokes less and isn't leaking oil into the manifold. It really is a great car and he's not pressed to sell/doesn't care if he sits on it for ever.

The worst part is that I moved the car out of the garage last year to get my snow blower and a branch fell causing the decklid damage to this and blowing the rear window out. It was mint up until then.

He claims he's selling it because he doesn't need 6 cars but I think he really wants to find a 300CTD
