  • FS: 1981 633CSi Safari Mobile, Clean Title, Working A/C...

For sale is a pretty nice 1981 633CSi. It is a fairly rare color called Safari Beige, and has a very clean dark brown interior. It has a clean title, current registration, passed smog in July, and has perfect working A/C and heat. It has a few visual and mechanical upgrades as well. I'm told that I am the third owner of the car. Many items have been replaced in the last few years (with receipts). The car runs perfectly, and the transmission shifts like new. This is a California car, with minor surface rust as seen in the photos, but there is absolutely no structural rust.

    Drivetrain:
    - Original engine and transmission, odometer stopped earlier this year at 206k miles.
    - Window regulator and highbeam stalk replaced (2004)
    - Plugs, air filter, fuel filter, valve cover gasket, transmission oil, differential seals + oil, brake fluid, distributor cap & rotor replaced (2005)
    - Radiator, thermostat housing, thermostat, all cooling hoses, and radiator cap replaced (2006)
    - Alternator, brake master cylinder, clutch master cylinder, and brake fluid changed (2009)

    Suspension & wheels
    - Newer shocks (adjustable rear perches) with lowering springs (brand unknown)
    - Adjustable rear sway bar
    - 16x8 polished star-spoke wheels
    - Front tires 50% tread remaining
    - Rear tires 80% tread remaining

    Cosmetics & Interior
    - Fully functional air conditioner and heater
    - Complete trunk toolkit
    - Hartge steering wheel
    - Wooden Alpina shift knob
    - Paint shines wonderfully
    - Blaupunkt headunit with tape player
    - Clean seats with no tears or holes
    - No rust in the common-rust areas around front/rear windshields or sunroof

    Issues:
    - Three small rust spots (front left fender, rear left wheel arch, and rear right tail light)
    - Slight oxidation on trunk
    - Radio sometimes shuts off when the brake is pressed
    - Driver seat tilt does not adjust

    Sold!

Thanks, I'd love to see it with a crash bar, snorkel, green siren on top, and Safari Rescue in German on the side.
