  • 1991 Volkswagen GTI 1.8T.: In PA

    Sold

In no rush to sell but here is a chance to own a one and only. I sure some of you know this car and the extreme amount of time and energy that has been invested in it.
This car was featured in Eurotuner at one point and is second to none when looking for a crazy horsepower MK2.
The engine that was in the car previously had a valve failure and was destroyed when we got the car. We completely rebuilt the engine from top to bottom, including rebuilding the turbo, sparing no expense to build it right. We put in a 2.0 FSI crank and bored the block to make it a 2.0 liter. This car made 500 HP on the old cams as a 1.8T and now is a 2.0 with superior integrated street strip cams and a built head with ferrea valves and should be capable of the 500 hp mark again. We currently have it on a safe street tune and have not dyno tuned it. Current boost is around 25 psi and a beast to drive. Make no mistake this car runs and drives very smooth and currently is making in the 400hp range but could be tuned for much more. It also has the transmission and drive train fully built to handle the horse power with a racing gear set, driveshaft shop axles, spec clutch etc. Fully built ready for slicks.

If you are interested and have Cash feel free to message me lets talk. Please include your name and phone number for I would rather talk on the phone or in person. Test rides are welcome to serious Buyers Only. It will scare the willys out of you.

There is over $40,000 in this build. It has been done right, and is not only fast but has a show quality paint job and super straight body.

I made a list below of some of the parts and mods. I am sure I am missing some things. Come and see the car and you will see why this is worth the money. Thanks
