Was going to keep this quiet but anyway...

Time to move on from my daily driver. I have had the car since the beginning of the year and it has served me very well. I haven't modded anything motor or suspension related and the car comes 99.5% stock (i painted the rings around the gauges, made a huge difference in how the interior feels). It is becoming harder and harder to find these cars unmolested so to come across one with such low miles is a rare thing indeed. Car starts every time without fail and there are no check lights of any kind. Everything on the car works. The A/C blows very very cold and the heat is wonderful in the winter. This is a very well sorted car it just looks a little rough around the edges. there is a dent in the passenger-side door and by the driver-side rear wheel well. While the exterior is not in perfect condition the interior is perfect, there are no tears in the seats and i even have the original owners manual and floor mats.

Here is a better breakdown of the car.

    Good:
    - Everything works (cruise control, power mirrors, power windows, moonroof, A/C, heat, e-brake)
    - SUPER low miles
    - Strong brakes
    - Smooth clutch and a grind-free gear box
    - Mint interior
    - Tires have a lot of life left on them.
    - Tabs are good till March 2013
    - I have both the main key and the spare red key
    - I have the clean title in my name and in my hand (no waiting for me to get it, no "it's at my parents house", none of that BS)
    - I have a new clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder still in their boxes and they come with the car (the car doesn't need them but they are generally the first thing to go one these so i bought them just in case)
    - It isn't a Type SH (SH had a MUCH more complicated transmission that did next to nothing and basically only made suspension parts more expensive and harder to find, the SH is not worth it)
    - Gets 26-30 mpg

    Bad:
    - There are a few dents
    - Paint could use a buff (can make a recommendation on a QUALITY professional detail (Joey) that will come to you, i'll even chip in a bit to seal the deal)
    - Slight exhaust leak at the joint between the mid pipe and the rear section (exhaust is a little louder but it doesn't sound like it has a fart can on it)
    - Wheels are a bit scuffed are bend and crack free w/ zero balance issues

I am happy to answer any question you might have and if you want to come schedule a test drive i am happy to work that out but i have to see that you actually have cash before you get the keys. This would make a wonderful daily driver for someone, it is a great car but i am a big euro guy and looking to get back into a BMW. I am willing to work on the price with someone so please shoot me an offer. I see these go for a lot more with much higher miles so i think i am pricing this on the realistic side of things. The best way to get a hold of me is to email me or text me at (six 1 two) 2 eight one - two 30 one

As for trades i am looking for the following and ONLY the following:
    1996-1999 BMW 328is with a manual
    2000-2001 Audi a4 quatro manual (prefer v6)

KBB for this in GOOD condition is $5133

I am listing it at $5250 OBO

Probably not the best market here but if someone is looking for a solid daily please let me know

went out to the parking garage at work and snapped a few pics of the damage. i also forgot i had a pic of the front brake pads to show the life of the pads that i took yesterday when i had the front wheels off the get them facing the right way (had the tires rotated when i got the car.)

and here is the damage to the passenger door, it is kind of hard to see the dent itself as it pretty shallow. it tried to get it from as many angles as i could to accurately show the dent.

and there here is a better shot of the dent on the driver side by the wheel well

i will grab more shots of the interior tomorrow after i take a vacuum to it but in the mean time here is a shot of what the gauge cluster looked like at the beginning of the year when i did the trim rings.

bump for a great daily driver. had three of these before moving on to german cars. the prelude handles well, responds to modifications easily, and has a 7300 redline.

        thank you!

i have the call to get back in a e36, specifically a 328is with a black interior and i need this gone to do that. anyone want a good daily that is actually entertaining? I would be happy to drive the car out to someone if they could find me a nice 328is in their area
