hello all,
I have up for sale my 1983 bmw 320i.
Car is located in glen cove, NY.
has 80k miles.
was used as daily driver up until I bought a new car about a month ago. Still gets started and run around the block frequently.
I don't have pictures of the interior at the moment, it is black on black leather and has a blue apc racing drivers seat, but i also have stock oem seat in perfect condition.
I bought an rx7 and dont have room to keep both of them, I will accept rx7 parts.
I am slightly neg on price.
If you cant afford the price i can sell with only stock wheels for $3000.
the good
- 80,000 appx miles, super low for this car. its in great condition inside and out.
- new oem paint job, dolphin metallic grey
- brand new clutch, slave, throw out bearing 1000 miles ago
- valves recently adjusted 500 miles ago
- welded straight pipe exhaust quite loud, no catylitc converter
- new waterpump, thermostat, radiator, hoses, flushed and new coolant
- replaced about half of the vacuum lines with silicone hoses
- new front slotted/drilled rotors and new pads in front, and new drum cylinders/ebrake cables in back.
- new floor mats
- has diamond racing 15x8 white steelies, 13mm offset with 10mm h&r spacers, new lug nuts and lug nut locks (H&R). also have stock wheels and tires.
- runs great (used as daily driver)
- apc blue racing seat (also have stock seat in great condition)
- aftermarket front valence
- front bumper removed ( still have it though)
- rear bumper tucked
- manual windows, sunroof, locks, steering
- interior is 9/10
- exterior is 9/10
- title is clean no monkey business
- comes with some extras like spare tail lights and interior pieces, bumpers, stock radio, stock wheels, if you want them.
the bad
- hazard light switch has a jumper wire, common issue.
- a small amount of rust on underside of car behind front wheel wells, pretty standard.
- has a mild shimmy between 45-55mph (common for this car, needs new sway bar bushings) doesnt impact driving or safety.
- a/c motor works but no cold air, might just need a recharge or might have a leak, I never investigated
- some of the hood weather seals could stand to be replaced
- trunk opens, but lock cylinder is missing.
- speakers are oem and sound pretty crappy
- car is very loud and agressive sounding. it has a straight pipe exhaust and no catlytic converter, it just passed inspection. could be a plus if you like loud cars.
