Hello fellow stanceworkers! I am looking to buy a 1970's Datsun 240Z or 280Z to use as my DD. Hopefully one of y'all can help me out!
What I'm looking for:
1. Manual transmission.
2. None of that 280ZX or 2+2 stuff.
3. Running.
4. Will consider salvaged title and damaged car as long as 3 is true.
5. Minimal rust in important structural areas (frame, etc.).
6. Not worried about mileage.
7. Not worried about body condition/exterior.
8. Priced under $3000.
9. I live in Ohio, but I will travel to any bordering state to pick up the car and check it out(Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia) or even further South if an excellent opportunity presents itself.
Essentially I want a running vehicle that I will work on over the next couple years. I will be checking Craigslist for deals as well.
