  • Fs: 1972 bmw 2002

*Only reason why I am selling is to get an E30 M3. If that it sells, then I am just going to keep this. Looking to sell within the week. Will add more info on the car and pictures of the current state of it. Also check this link:http://www.stanceworks.com/2012/04/t...s-72-bmw-2002/

    What I have:
1971 2002 Polaris Silver with black Interior. It does have rust issue in the driver side frame rail, and some at the bottom of the bottom door.
    • M10 with 32/36 weber
    • 944 rad
    • oil cooler set-up
    • Ansa rear exhaust
    • Full working Behr air condition
    • Ground Control front suspension w/ ST swaybar
    • Currently about to get a new head gasket.
    • Car is set-up for turbo
    • E21 5-spd swap with 3.91 LSD

I will have to add more pics. Headgasket is getting done, replaced flywheel, clutch, thermostat, and waterpump.

oh. My. God.... Such an amazing price too. If you said to send me a offer without posting a price, i would of guessed id be in the 12-16k range... lol

honestly, if i got this, id prob keep it for a year, and since im from a richer area, i could probably post it on craigslist and get 20k for it haha

is that a crack on the front bumper though? It wouldnt bother me, just thought you should point it out.

and since im a 2002 newb, is the rust on a frame rail somehting that would need attention, or what would be the best thing to do about it?

thats quite apparent. you are one of those guys who is like 'omg its a classic car, its worth tens of thousands'. the car is priced right. you wouldnt get 20k for it anywhere, rich area or not.

dude ebay is the way to go with these cars. they got a bunch of older gentlemen who'll pay good money for something done right. i sold my 2002 on there back in november and i was surprised.
