NEW ASKING PRICE; $6800!!Hey everyone, I am looking to sell my second 1999 2.5 RS. It's currently my daily driver. The reason why I'm selling is because I'm honestly just looking for another Subaru. I really really love my RS, but I want another Subie because I just can't let go of that boxer engine rumble...
The car currently has around 20xxx miles on the rebuilt motor. I'm good friends with the previous owner and he had the motor rebuilt by a shop.
Details regarding rebuilt motor:
Stock 2.5 RS motor, recently rebuilt @ 189k August 2011 from ground up
-Replaced the heads
-New Head gaskets
-New Intake Manifold gaskets
-New Valve cover gaskets
-New Spark Plugs
-New Spark Plug wires
-New Main Seal
-New Coil pack
-New MAF sensor
-New Injectors
-New Engine Coolant sensor
-New Thermostat
-New Knock sensor
-New Exhaust gaskets
-New Timing Belt & both other belts
-New Tensioner
-New Water Pump
-Flushed replaced ALL fluids.
Current mods on the car:
-OEM Clutch
-JNA Unequal length headers
-Tsudo Catback Exhaust
-Eibach Lowering Springs
-Indiglo Blue RS Cluster
-10k Slim Digital HID kit
-Amber Corners
-Amber Fender Signals
-Amber Bumper Lights
-Painted STI Fog light Covers.
-Painted Grill
-Pink I-Badge
-NRG Flat Bottom Suede Steering Wheel
-NRG Wheel Hub
-NRG Quick Release
-3" Black harness
-Cusco Replica Front Strut bars
-Short Shifter & Bushings
-Black polyurethane Rally Armour mud flaps
-17" Newly Painted Gold Drag DR-19 Wheels (JimKhana V.1)
-Debadged Trunk
-STI FRP fiber glass hood scoop painted RBP (I do have the stock hood scoop as well)
-White ebay tow hook (Not installed, but will come with the car)
At the moment the car only needs 2 things:
-Fender to be replaced because of slight dent
-Replace springs
Recent maintenance:
***A couple weeks ago I got the steering rack fixed
I have a whole new fender, already painted in RBP, it's just waiting to be installed at my friends shop.
The springs need to be replaced, but not urgent. I have 17 inch wheels on the car currently, but if you went down to 16's you could probably get away with it. When you go over a bump, the front wheels sometimes rub against the fender.
Asking price is $6800. Considering the amount of mods, maintenance, time, and the rarity of the car, I believe the price is fairly good but it is OBO. Shoot me an offer, the worst I could say is no. I am looking for trades so let me know what you have. Plus, if you come close to my asking price I will even include a CAR COVER! WOOOO!
