So im gonna let my old FS thread die out and Im gonna make a fresh one with a few new pics of how it sits currently. Finally got all the odds and ends fixed so its ready to be snatched up so that I could start a new project. Anyways
Its a 1988 BMW 528e Automatic and has only 118K!
Runs great, has had regular oil services since Ive owned it.
Tranny shifts great, has no mechanical issues
Has always been reliable and have never had any problems and shouldnt cause its an m20
Drivetrain and power train is all stock
Has a fairly new battery
Engine has been raised about 3/4 inch which makes it sit alittle higher than the subframe
and out of harms way...
Body has absolutely no rust which is a pure joy! Paint is in great shape
Interior is all original aswell with the much coveted cardinal red finish.
Showing its age alittle but still overall not bad, No rips or tears except drivers seat is getting alittle worn. Everything works as it sould except A/C probably needs to be recharged. No Warning lights anywhere on the dash or on the overhead panel
Also has the mtech 1 steering wheel(not the one pictured)
Exterior are some homemade wanna be euro bumpers and actually look pretty dang good imo. Alot better than stock us bumpers with fresh chrome trim accents
Sitting on custom made suspension, Has brand new shorter VW KYB struts on the front and original rears that work well. Has Maxspeed coilovers, rides so much better than it did with cut springs. They are maxed out in the pictures but can probably use alittle more low but that can be up to the new owner. If I was going to keep it I would've bought and inch shorter springs all around from ground control. They are pretty cheap
Its rolling on custom one of a kind widened stepped lip style 5's. 9x17 et6 and 9.5x17 et10
Wrapped in basically new Nexen 215/40/17 all around
Basically this car is sweet but I have a new project that I want to start so I need it gone. Roof rack and german plate are not included but everything else is all yours. Im looking for $5400 OBO. Email me if interested. Car is located in Spokane WA. Its also for sale locally. Thanks
