Hey everyone it has come time to part with the old lady. She runs great and get 42 miles to the gallon (calculated on when way to school and back, Not a made up number). Ive decided to sell this because i recently purchased an A6 Avant and need money for bags. The original odometer stopped working when i bought the car, but it had 350k at that time so im sure its near 365k now, dont let that scare you though this car starts every time and has never left me stranded even in the winter cold.
GOOD:
stock 1.6l Turbo Diesel (pretty rare)
Raceland coils
straight piped 2.5" from the turbo back
Modified original roof rack (so it sits lower to the car)
Mk2 GTI Recaro Trophy Seats ( drivers seat is cracked and ripped a bit)
Magnum Block Heater
Newer Caddy transmission with a .72 5th gear ( roughly 110k on it)
New rear main seal put in when i swapped the trannys
Ronal Turbos Should you choose to buy them with the car
Crack Free original dash board!!
Frame and subframe are rust free, it still has the original body uncoating option that someone paid for when it was brand new.
Zimmerman drilled rotors in the front allong with new mintex red pads
New radiator
ABF alternator set up (90amp)
GTI golf ball shift knob
oil changed every 3k miles with mobil1 delvac
Im sure there is more I just cant recall at this very second
The Bad:
Small nick in windshield which is annoying for a perfectionist
Paint is original so it is looking pretty rough
minor body rust
Back seats are grimy but no rips or tears
Drivers side recaro is slightly torn
