Description:
This Miata is the perfect summer car, or every day car. It comes with the 1.8L Mazda engine, 5-speed transmission, and limited slip rear end. The engine is in excellent mechanical condition, and does not burn oil. It has been fitted with a K&N air filter for added performance and fuel mileage. The oil has been changed regularly with Klotz Synthetic oil. The transmission and rear end oil has also been recently changed with Klotz Synthetic. The timing belt was changed at 92,000 miles.
The car is shown with winter wheels and tires, 14" Dunlop Graspic DS-3 tires. These tires have another several years of life left in them. Also included are the factory 15" wheels with summer performance tires, Yokohama S.drive tires in good condition.
Brakes have been replaced ~12,000 miles ago with PowerSlot rotors and Hawk HP+ brake pads. Valvoline Synthetic brake fluid was used when the brakes were upgraded.
The suspension has been replaced with height adjustable coil overs, JIC FLT-A2 front and Tein Basic rear. This gives the car an excellent stance and better handling performance. The OEM suspension is also included in the purchase.
A roll bar has been installed for safety. It is a Hard Dog Ace bar with harness bar addition.
The soft top is in excellent condition with no rips and does not leak. The hard top is also shown, but can be a negotiable option if it is not desired.
There are two small flaws with the car, the windshield has a small crack that has been professionally repaired by Safelite and is guaranteed. The other is a small defect in the front bumper where someone backed into the car in a parking lot. Both are shown in photos.
The paint is in excellent condition, and there is no rust on the car. As far as I can tell the car has only been driven in 1 winter, and was always garaged. The interior is in good shape, and the stereo works well.
