Clean car. You guys should keep the car! It should get great gas mileage also if your GF has a long commute.
I drive on the 110 from Pasadena down to the 105 EVERYDAY both ways. The potholes aren't that bad, if any at all.

I drove her commute with her 2 months or so ago, and right around the 10/101 it started to get pretty rough. Then there were a couple of pretty bad spots where it gets twisty before it ends. Maybe they fixed it since then, I dunno, I just know that at the time I thought she was definitely justified in wanting something not so low with a softer suspension.
Maybe you two pass like ships in the night every day
