WTB in California: 1969-73 BMW 2002 roundie!

Hey guys, figured I'd post up in here. Looking for a roundie project! 1968-73 pretty much open to anything that is decent. Paint condition doesn't matter to me as I will be doing some custom body work and repainting. Body must be straight, however, with little to no rust. Looking for something that runs good. Can tow if needed. Willing to travel anywhere between Los Angeles and San Francisco, and maybe even a bit farther.

I would like to spend no more than $4000. I've been researching a bunch and have a pretty good idea of what these cars are worth given their condition.

I know, I really wish I could be a little more open minded about it, but I'm set on a roundie. I've even considered buying a later model and converting the rear to rounds but I'd rather just be patient and find the right project.
