Hi guys, I'm kind of testing waters here, but if the right person comes along I'm interested in selling definitely! I would certainly be up for a swap for an estate or preferably a P/X for a Mini Pickup. Any earleir Mini would be considered though. I'm also open to swaps for anything non Mini e.g. "stancy", Land Rover, Jap, RWD, BMW, Datsun... haha, the list goes on and on so hit me with what you have! Now I will be the first to say this car isn't perfect, it has just had a little rebuild and fresh paint but it needs finishing off in some areas which I will be doing in the coming weeks. Things such as finishing off interior trim etc but the large majority of things have been done. Some of you may have seen this car around, it was on Speedhunters for the Readers Car Of The Year award, which unsurprisingly it never won! I'll post the spec below and also a link to a write up I did on Status Error.

Some Bad Points:
A few rattly bits inside such as the door cards, which I will try to sort out.
No Sound proofing so it is loud inside! However you can purchase lightweight modern stuff fairly cheaply and cut it to size if required.
The car currently isn't charging, I have a replacement alternator on it's way which I will fit and test.
The engine bay & boot isn't very tidy, as in it's not a show stopping engine bay, it looks standard other than the HT leads!
I just replaced the Coolant Temp Sensor & some of the vacuum pipes, however it could probably do with a new Lambda to finish it off and run properly.
The car has had 2 owners (Including me) and the first owner was a family friend. It has done around 65000 miles and was serviced at the dealer for most of its life. I do have a book which proves this but i'm struggling to find it, so if I do i'll let you know and include it. It's had a lot of money spent on it over the last 2 years i've owned it, and it only needs a few small things sorted out to be a properly done Mini. The reason i'm selling is I want a Mini Pickup, or just a change of car really! If it doesn't sell I don't mind at all so there's no rush.
It has MOT until October 2012 and Tax for another 4 months.
Price wise I'm looking for around £3500 but offers considered. Car is based in Edinburgh.
