  • 1983 'barn find' Scirocco NY *feeler*

i recently bought a 1983 Scirocco from a guy i knew who has owned it since about 1985.
i have a lot of info on the car so ill try and put as much of it on here. it was built in west germany.

in 1985 an 84 GTi cam & TT 4-2-1 header added
in the late 80s the car was repainted oem VW color (idk the name but i have the code)
i have a quart of the same paint with the car

timing belt & Clutch done at 95k
the car now has 102k on the clock
    shifts great

i have all receipts along and logged maintenance

    car has stock 13inch wheels
but i also have 13x7.5 black mesh Riken wheels with new tires that i can sell separate or with the car.

car would come with extra shocks, brake pads and all other paper work, including the orig window tag from the dealer. which states all the factory upgrades. like leather seats and upgraded factory parts.

everything is stock for the most part and the car runs and looks amazing.
great for a weekend car which it is used for now with historical tags.

the only "bad" things to list about the car are
    AC needs recharge
small rust spot smaller than a dime. only surface
id say it could use a cat back with a res because right now it only runs a muffler but its not the loudest.

i bought the car and i live in brooklyn and the truth is i dont need it.

    Car on stock wheels- $3500
car on Riken wheels - $4000
    riken wheels alone- $600
