Anyone want a stance project e28? Here's your chance for little money. We were going to lower her and paint and all but alas!... We need a van.
Putting out as a feeler my wife's 87 528e 5 spd. After riding with the kids in the back we definately feel a van is a bit better suited for our situation. So here we are. If it doesn't sell no big deal. If you are interested I am available anytime after 3 during the week for phone calls and test drives, anytime on weekends. $1200 firm is my price for mye28 and stanceworks members, or I would trade for an equal condition 90's van with a third row. Now onto the info.

The Good
-I am the second owner. Unfortunately the first own misplaced the records folder with the car. There is a sticker for the timing belt job which has been recent within 10k miles (the odometer stopped shortly after me buying the car).
-recent timing belt
-new feeling clutch
-shifter aged but not sloppy, feels confident and good
-interior aged but in good shape. Headliner, door cards, seats no rips, sags, or holes (except for a small one in the back seat). Carpet is in good shape without the usual crusty coffee stains and wear.
-Will include BavAuto "528e" floor mats
-tri color shift knob and sport 3 spoke steering wheel
-car runs extremely smooth, very quiet, and pulls nicely (for an eta! )
-Heater works, defrost, rear defrost, etc
-All power options work except driver side headrest. All dash lights work and HVAC, glove box, light switch, cluster, etc.
-new radio installed by me. See my write up for how.
-engine bay is pretty clean for age. No leaks. Regular oil changes using GTX 10-30 or Valvoline VR1 20-50 conventional, using Purolator, Mann, Mahle, or Bosch oil filters. New air filter installed.
-Euro rear fog lights installed.
-front fogs installed since I bought it.
-central locking works
-I got 33 mpg on the highway and as much as 27 in city
-5/12 VA inspection. Title also good, nothing wrong. Can be antique plated next year.
-rust free Cali car (previously titled in CA)
The not so good
-leaky catalytic converter. Just smells bad and when you get underneath you can see it leaking. Doesn't inhibit car's "performance"
-AC inop
-small hole in rear seat
-dash cracks
-odo no worky
-paint faded and clearcoat toast
-has brake warpage shimmy. Needs new rotors and pads up front. Stops just fine though.
-idiot lights come on upon startup, push the gas down they go away. Possible wear on battery or alternator. Does not interfere with car's startup ability or operation. She performs both perfectly.
