    SOLD!

Hey guys, a good friend of mine is selling his car, and I thought some of you might like it. The car is located in Lynnwood, Washington.

I have decided to sell my Datsun 1200 coupe. I love this car but want to move on to new things. To start off with the body of this car needs work. There is the typical rust on the bottoms of the doors and behind the wheels. Aside from the body work the car functions great. The engine runs strong and the brakes work great. This car is low and I am not just saying that. It rides like rocks and could use some work to make the suspension softer. Also the front wheel bearings are starting to make noise and could use replacing. (costs about 90 bucks)

    The engine:

The engine is the stock 1.2 liter A12 and the mileage is unknown.

Single Weber DCOE 40 side draft carb

    Cannon aluminum intake

    Equal length mandrel bent headers.

New valve seals less than 100 miles ago.

2inch exhaust all the way back with a stainless cherry bomb turbo muffler.

    Stock 4 speed manual transmission.

    The electrical:

All the exterior lights work great.

    Gauge lights work.

Interior lights such as the dome light and foot lights do not work.

New points, condenser, rotor, cap, and cables last year.

New budget battery about 3 months ago.

Wiring for 2 BMW E30 projectors is still in the car from the grill that used to be on it (other grill comes with car but not the projectors)

Sony CD player is AUX port in the front

3inch 2 channel speakers in the front 6x9 inch 4 channel speakers in the back mounted in a custom box.

    The exterior:

The front has fiberglass fenders built into the stock quarter panels.

The original grill has been re-painted by me in black and white.

    Fiberglass rear trunk lid spoiler.

    VW rabbit front duckbill spoiler.

MKII fender flares covering up the bad fender job (done by previous owner way back in the day)

    Interior:

The interior is in very good condition.

There are no carpets but a full set (2 sets actually) of fiber underlay and rubber mats.

I have fitted 2nd generation prelude seats in the front without changing the car.

Mint condition rear seat without any tears.

    Near perfect black headliner.

    Suspension/wheels

4 spoke Cragar SS 13x5.5 in front

    13x7 in the back

175/50/13 Sumitumo tires all around with less than 5,000 miles on them.

Ground control coil over sleeves in the front with stock struts

Flipped rear leaf springs and 2inch lowering blocks in the rear.

Custom made u-bolts for the lowering.

    Extras:

There are a few things that come with the car but may sell separately

The roof rack is SOLD and no longer comes with the car. I repeat the roof rack is GONE.

I have a NOS passenger side door that I never got to putting on.

A dogleg 5 speed transmission that bolts up to the engine but the drive shaft needs shortening for that conversion.

The 2 original front seats in near perfect condition (tears in the drivers seat from me sitting in it)

Like I said some of these items go with the car but the longer I have the car and it doesn't sell the more likely I am to sell some of these items separately. Also the car with come with a few boxes of random bits.

I am looking to get $2700.00 and at this point I am NOT taking any offers due to a high interest in the car. I’m not trying to make any money on this car just get a good place to start on getting a different one. Also I am looking to trade for one thing only. It’s a long shot but I would love to get my hands on an Opel Manta.

Call or text me and come have a test drive.

    Texting gets quicker replies.

I saw this car at the SW GTG. I'd be lying if I didn't think about buying it.

haha lucky this car is across country or I'd be buying a car I don't need. Looks like a reasonable price too.
