  • FS: 1985 BMW E28 535i (4-to-1 6-month build)

Due to an unfortunate turn of recent events, I'm forced to sell my E28. This car is a result of a 6-month build involving 4 different cars. It drives nice and tight, sounds incredible, and has real presence. E28s aren't common sights on the road, let alone a clean euro-bumpered one.

    1985 BMW 535i
    Schwarz on Anthracite/Cardinal
    233k southern chassis
130k M30B34 engine (pulled from an automatic car)
    1,000 miles driven since rebuild

The car was built by Guten Parts of Maplewood, a vintage BMW specialist shop:
This is the place to keep everyone at R3VLimited updated on the new and different projects you're doing on your E30

Price is $12,500, a fraction of the total build cost.
I can be reached at (973) 722-0892 or at lin.daniel@gmail.com. Motivated to sell.

Included with sale is a custom QQ license plate: "BMWE28"

Nice, you did a lot of similar things that I would do with an E28. In agreement with everyone else though, that price is a little steep.

price may be steep, but you you need to compare the amount of work involved / rarity of parts vs your plain jane e28 with original 25 year old parts.

that being said, it is only the asking price. i'm motivated to sell, and will entertain offers / trades.

                          $12,500?
                          It's not an M5.

like I said, the price is negotiable. i'm open to feedback, but i'd appreciate it if you didn't trash my thread.
