Decided I don't have the time/resources/space that the car deserves, so it is up for sale.
1986 BMW e28 535i 5-speed.
Alpine white on black leather interior.
~222k miles
asking $3,750 obo.
z4 1.9 short-shift kit
bavarian autosport lowering springs
bilstein sport shocks/struts
e32 750iL big brake upgrade w/ braided SS lines
turner motorsports performance chip
blacked out bumpers & trim
e34 m5 style 21 m-system 17x8" wheels (have turbine covers as well)
sony stereo w/ 10" alpine sub
performance spark plug wires
front strut tower brace
factory fog lights
full power sport seats from 535IS
euro rear headrests
mtech 1 steering wheel
flat-face glass headlights w/ optional HIDs
recent service:
brake pads + rotors
oil change
plugs & wires
new driveshaft & csb
new rear tires (245/40/17 dunlop sport)
passed smog w/ flying colors (good till 2/20/11)
needs:
rear subframe replacement (comes with IE urethane bushings and m535i diff mount)
cv boots (comes with 4 new boots)
front alignment (pass. front tire has inner shoulder wear)
535i exhaust. has OEM 533i from the headers-back because that is all i could find when the PO's crappy jbweld/hoseclamp exhaust system went all to hell. current system work fine, but doesnt let the car breathe as much as a 535i system would.
also have trunk/rear seat full of spare parts that come with the car
registered until oct 2011

The car is currently in north county (Carlsbad) San Diego, CA. I am often in the OC area (Laguna Niguel) and can bring the car up there on the weekend.
I also have a chrome rear bumper, 535i catback, and black leather rear seat that can be negotiated for.
Listed at $3,750 but open to talk about it!
