1998 Jetta 2.0 single cam 8v, also known in the VW world as a MKIII jetta. These cars run forever! It has a small economic 4cyl with a automatic transmission that shifts threw gears great! All maintence and tune ups have been done to keep this car running strong! The car has 114xxx miles on it, i drive the car around 30 miles daily so that will continue to grow, i get 2 weeks out of a tank of gas. YES! TWO WEEKS! I only will use BP gas in the car, some people are biased with there gas since the oil spill, but you really cant get any better gas for your vehicle, not to mention it lasts longer and cleans the motor out. The car is lowered on supersport cup shocks and springs, the shocks are on the lowest setting since i enjoy the amazing handling that comes with being so low. The new owner can raise it back up with ease of a lift. The tires on the car are new winter tires, they are 195/60r that are mounted on BMW bottle caps, very rare rims but are unique to the car and make it who it is. There are NO motor modifications at all what so ever! The window lock cylinder did go out yesterday its being replaced this week, no questions asked, and reciept will be provided. There are tints on the car, its 5% all the way around the back window is 20%. There is a nice CD/DVD/MP3/IPOD player in the car it is soundstream, there is also a VERY VERY expensive stereo that is in the car that will not be left in there, it can be added for an additional fee. There are newer brakes on the car so stopping is not a problem at all. The body is in GREAT shape, a small rust bubble on the trunk is starting to build. What you see on the trunk in the pictures is some of my art work, so people like it, alot of people dont. It is sharpie, i free hand drew it on there, it can be taken off by the new owner with some rubbing compound, trust me, i made sure before i even touched the car with the marker, or if you do not want it on there let me know i will bring it to work and have it taken off ( i work at mercedes/volvo/jaguar dealer as a detailer). If you like the car id like if you gave me time to get it to tip top shape, id bring it to work and perform a full detail, i am not going to do it untill i see cash in hand, and than will ask if you can pick up the following day if work is open so i can do this for the new owner along with a full tank of gas, since i ***** when i bought the car and there was enough to make it down the street. I PREFER texting over phone calls since i am normally at work and it doesnt look good to be talking on the phone,I am asking 3500 obo that being said there is an obo there for a reason no low ballers! if you are going to text with questions please text 219-689-9792, if you do not have texting and would like to call please call 219-322-3144 and leave a detailed message, please say what your calling for so i can answer (youd be surprised how many people call and just say "hey can you call me back"). I entertain trades, but i am ONLY looking for volvos, preferably 200 series/700 series/900 series in good condition, miles DO NOT matter as long as the car runs great since mine does, turbo's would be nice, turbo diesel would be nicer.
