  • FS: 91 s52 e30

PRICE DROP: $3500 firm. You are pretty much buying the swap, 5lug, diff, and suspension at $1500 less then the guy who built the car did and having a shell to get rid of after (or you can swap your running e30 stuff over and sell this car run

I picked this car up off of a friend a few months ago with the intention of building a fun daily. Shortly after, my e38 build spun rapidly out of control and I've decided to scrap this project and try and buy something more simple for daily driving. I haven't registered or driven the car because it hasn't been completed yet but it is close and it can very easily be made to run reliably as a daily.

    The good:
    - 131k on the chasis
    - 61k on the s52 and ZF 5spd
    - Z4 Differential
    - e36 5lug
    - Relatively rust free shell
    - Brand new Bilstein Sports with lowering springs (unsure of what kind)
    - New radiator, hoses, suspension bushings, control arms, etc
    - Good tires
    - A bunch of other new parts. The car essentially had anything swap related replaced along with various other bits and pieces.

    The bad:
    - Dents
    - Paint (despite the rust on the actual dents throughout the vehicle, all of which can be fixed, the car doesn't have any rot. No door jam rot or undercarriage rot.)
    - The interior is shot
    - The key is broken
    - The swap needs to be buttoned up
    - It needs to have the exhaust completed (set up to run straight pipes now but anything can be done with it)

This car is the perfect e30 project for someone trying to go all out or a great donor car for someone with a mint e30/e30 m3 shell. I can't say its very nice but I had full intentions on making it an immaculate daily and would do it if my e38 didn't consume me the way it has the last few months.

It was built by a reputable shop BMW shop in NY and is still located there now. It would need to be towed away if someone wants it. I can meet any week day after 5 and any saturday after 1 the three weeks before xmas as I am in NYC on business.

Price: $4500 (I believe its priced accordingly considering the fact that I've seen s52 swaps that were completed sell anywhere between $7500 and $13000. Its been sitting for a year at least and I need to get it out of my friends shop. I put all the issues that I know of out on the table with this car for a reason so don't try to lowball the hell out of me.

*m50 manifold will be included in sale.

Its not busted just aired out and with no engine in it ATM. That should be a show of good faith. The guy that built this e30 is one of very few I know that overhauls TT v12 Bentley motors in house.
