Really interested in the hydroholics 1 pump 5 dump kit, looks like a good kit

Just a question though, with hydraulics how do you know what your ride is, like with air you have gauges to tell you bag pressure which you can relate to a certain ride height, how does it work with juice?

also are springs necessary if you running accumulators?

One downside to hydraulics you cant tell what your ride is.. but when you used to it you would know whats the height of your ride. If you running accumulator springs are not needed. Well, I got mine from hydroholics.net

Accumulators generally are there to fill the dampening void of not having Shocks. I would never run no coils
as for my car, I know 2 little taps of the switch up from dumped is the best ride right for smoothness and low.

If it is possible to run E-level with an 8 dump setup, then you wouldn't have the issue of not knowing what your ride height was at.

so would you suggest both coils and accumulators for the best ride?

so basically I can build a strut like my current coilover with the hydraulic cylinder and keep the spring etc?

ie same design but remove the damper for the cylinder?

Absolutely. Run five check valves and four slowdowns.

                    I ran springless just fine.

Ride great to compared to what?

Been a long time since I've had hydro's but all the installs I've done none of them had a great or good ride. Accumulators helped, definately a noticeable difference but took up too much space.

If you run hydraulic suspension do not expect to have a good ride out of them. That goes out the garage door when you start cutting and welding your brackets.

                              I do miss them tho!

My C Class rode incredible. Ask the founder of StanceWorks himself. He has had a ride in it
