Yea like I said, first time it's ever been done in a mk5 Gti. More and more cars gettin this setup in Ireland recently. All installed by the same person I might add he really is good at what he does.

And to be completely honest I haven't a clue how much it was I had Afew custom bits like spherical lower top mounts and the custom box..

It's all a personal preference I think.. But if you want to drive it like you stole it. Hydros>bags IMO

Ill get some pictures of other local cars with the same set up when I'm home from work.. Some of them will blow your tits

Intradasting. So basically you have some springs mounted in the trunk to act like accumulators.

Can you get/is the guy who built your setup on the forums? If so could you direct him to this thread for us?

Unfortunately he isn't. But ill say to him about it.

In fairness I'm pretty sure he isn't going to tell you how he does it... After all this is his job.. It pays his rent etc so isn't going to explain how to do it so people can do it without paying him to fit if you catch my drift. The guys name is John Peden look him up on Facebook

I'm pretty well flabbergasted how small that setup is.

                    I like em dropped.

it works only for small cars like his golf and your mazda... if big cars like mine you need two pumps which could take quite some space.. unless you dont mind having a harsher ride

Much more complicated... tbh I wouldn’t tackle it if you didn’t know exactly what you were doing.

I’ve heard quite afew horror stories with the topmount and struts coming through the bonnet...

the guy (john peden) that fits them has developed his own personal custom spherical top mounts to both stop the above problem and make it sit 7mm lower

Pity he is in Ireland, would be nice to pick his brain and ask some questions about his setups

Space it takes up all depends on the batteries and trunk size. I run 8 batteries on mine but thankfully I have a huge Trunk. And 3 pumps
