I'm thinking about it haha, I used to have a bagged gti, and after that I kinda went "anti-bags"

but yeah it would be nice to be on air again

i use to be like that, but then i got my static gti and realized how much it sucks and how inconvenient it is. i've gotten to the point where i just don't care if people give me shit, next car i get will be on air.

No, I actually drive like a grandma lol. The car is just wayyyy lower than it should be. and it lays frame on coilovers.... haha I originally payed $800 for the car:p

My Tranny sits lower than my oil pan so i scrap my tranny all the time instead.

Same here cause my car is an automatic but believe me my oil pan has taken a beating.

E28s come with steel pans as far as I know. The aluminum pans are on M20 E30s.

M30's have cast aluminum pans. Mine is cast aluminum. If it hits something hard enough it'll explode.

Back when I changed my first pan, I thought it was pretty worn pretty much







Now my second pan looks like this:


It's nicely flat and bent inwards, even the drain screw doesn't stick out anymore, but I poked it with a screwdriver, still good to go.

some things just happen

crack went all the way up to the bottom of the block and across the sealing surface.
Without my skid plate i would have lost the oil pick up also, among other things

mkiv's are the worst, for serious.
