    • ^That's not going to do much, if anything, to protect a pan from being cracked or rubbed through.

Nothing really helps extend an oil pan's life as much as simply driving right.

scraped it off in like a week. but the oil pan on a MK1 riders the ground. might be better for some one not as low who just occasionally taps the ground on a dip that wants to prevent cracking it in those cases.
doing it for the internet and the scene kids.

After it told me it's sob story of falling on hard times, I'd offer to lend it a few quid(c wut i did thar) for rent money. I'd probably buy it's daughter a few outfits for school as well. Eventually, I'd take it to a family pic of mine and introduce it to everyone. We'd date for a while until a nice G35 came around and enticed me with the leather seats and navigation that I would never even use anyway. I'd end up breaking that tegs heart and it would walk on me. THAT'S how much I love this car.

                          • My skid plate isn't the strongest, but it did save me enough time to drive to my garage to fix it without having it leak out completely, because it would of sucked having to deal with it where I cracked it or have it get towed to my garage.
