Yeah, if you break a pan and run the engine long enough with no oil pressure or low oil, your engine will most likely be toast...Shot rings, cracked rods, seized pistons...the works. If you think you've broken you're pan, pull over, turn the car off, look under. Raised my motor a little over 1/2" today. I could do a little more, but as Sean pointed out, I'd be worried about the fan hitting the shroud or the hood of I raised it much higher. Hopefully that half inch will keep it a bit more out of harms way. We'll see.

Noticed lots of scrapes on the bottom of mine when I was changing my oil the other day. Should be raising the motor today.
