basic idea is similar, but they are not all the same, some are adjusted very differently than others, and of course some are more race oriented and stuff. but sure the basic idea remains similar.

Well I meant just they basically have the same look to them. I know they all react different but saying that there same as k sports with no real proof is kinda just word of mouth thing

yeah, people just seem to group ksport/d2/___________ whatever into some particular 'level' of coilovers, i don't really get it.

K-Sport/XYZ/D2 etc is all at the low end of coilovers, but I was satisfied with the ride of my K-Sports. I'm not really picky about ride quality, and as far as reliability goes, K-Sport got better than when I first got them, and that's what warranties are for anyways.

Yeah I agree mine are well worth $700. People talk shit on "low" end coilovers but on a daily driver I don't want to trash $1200 coils.

If your racing your car then spend the money.

Trash your coilovers? I don't see how this is possible. Plus the whole point of higher end coilovers is the lifetime warranty. I've had a bent front, a blown front, and a blown rear all replaced under warranty by B&G in the 4 years that mine have been on the car. More than paid for the extra cost of them right there

Is this a maximum drop with these coils or they can go even lower?I'm thinking of buyin' these in spring.
