    Anti roll bars cause a brief problem on the mk4 when going low as the anti roll bars are above the drive shaft. You can get new arb's which go ubder so give plenty of room, or do what we did to a couple of mate's mk4's/boras and cut them out

    well, I hoped Norwegian roads will explain enough. speed bumps, cracks and holes in the road.

    do you have some pictures how low I can go without air ride?

    You can get to about 23" at fender height before really worrying about much. Depending what year and engine it is, it's easier to go lower. What is your definition of bad roads?

    I'm thinking of buying me a Mk4 Golf GTI and I have some questions.
    how low can I go before I get stuck with bad roads, and what are the issues when I go so low?
