  • Bc racing or ground control?

    I have a 1984 BMW 318i. I'm looking at both BC racing Coilovers and Ground control's. Although BC Racings price point ($995.00) outs GC's ($1599.00), I am leaning towards BC Racing but I have the money for either, and want to know which would be the better buy! Ill be installing myself.. both come with adjustable camber plates and are for Daily Driving/occasional "track" use. I'm looking to REALLY lower my car, but also maintain good handling and ride quality. RIDE QUALITY for me does not involve the feeling of driving over marshmallows, I enjoy the feedback of the road, but keep in mind that my passengers may not. so i look for a middle ground. Any responses from people who have run both or either of these setups is appreciated!

    Don't really know how low GCs go but if you do a lot of track time then I'd recommend them. As far as BCs go you get what you pay for, the strut is meant more for the street and depending on how low you want to go you probably end up ordering higher spring rates from swift sooner or later. Best of both with quality parts and manufacturing would be Broadway statics a little more expensive but so worth it. Just my 2. Good luck.

      Yeah I've been looking and Broadway Static seems to get good reviews everywhere. They have "Jesus Christ" as a sales rep on here so they must have something good. lol

        If the answer was simple.

        GC = Track
        BC= Low/Street
