  • Modifying Coilovers Strut Tops For More Camber - E28

Need to increase front negative camber in my e28. Currently has BC coilovers.

I could die grind the centre out but that would only increase it by approx 1 degree and decrease strength.

Any other ideas or other tops that would fit these coilovers?

I don't really know much about your setup, but I just happened to come across your thread and thought I'd chime in. Instead of modifying the top strut mounts, have you considered increasing camber by running some "Negative Camber Roll Center Adjusters"? I don't know if anyone makes these for E28's. Also, consider extended lower control arms.

Yeah, move whole shock tower in an "1 then reweld it back in.

Ending up getting the strut top milled out. Could have went further, but i'll start with this.
