I've had a look on google, and on here, and I'm struggling to find any information on the conversion to fit VW Polo 6n coilovers to fit a BMW E28. From what I have seen it says that the rears are a direct fit, is this true? Also, what's required to fit them on the front, just the standard removal of the existing brackets off the coilover and weld them to the strut of the E28? Also what's required to fit camber adjustable top mounts to these for the e28 colt batter on top of the strut tower?
Unfortunately due to living in the UK it's extorionate trying to import some ground control or Catuned coilovers. The only other option is to buy GAZ coilovers over here but they're still like £900. I just wanna find a cheaper way to do it as I'm fed up of seeing my poor e28 sitting like a 4x4 and I'm beginning to lose enthusiasm for it so would like to find a quicker way of lowering her. I'm perfectly competent with a welder and have access to an entire machine shop so custom work is not really an issue.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Conor
