  • What coilovers to lower a BMW E21?

In a few weeks I am going to buy a BMW E21.
I want to lower it, but I am completely new to the 'stance scene'.
So, after some research I found Gaz and Leda coilovers.
Both make them for the E21.

My question is... What are the best value for money coilovers for an E21?
Maybe one of the brands I mentioned?

Also, do I have to mod more than just coilovers and wheels to go low?
Or can I just put the coilovers on a stock car to lower it a lot?

Maybe it makes it easier to help me if you know how low I want to go.
    Here are some examples:

go for gaz all day long! i went to visit them yesterday and they spent about and hour talking me through my options and eventually coming up with an idea which would work.

they can do anything you like included extending the thread on the body and removing lenght from the body and the shock itself.

for the rear you can use regular Bilsteins HD, they have three grooves were you can position the spring perch, the lowest one will be like 2 inches lower. For the front you can cut down your factory strut tubes, use VW rabbit inserts and get the coil over kit from places like Ground-Control or Ireland Engineering.

or check with the guys at Broadway Static to see if they can make you a kit
