  • D2 Racing RS series coilovers-opinions?

Very few companies make coilovers for Saab 9-5s. D2 is one that does make them and they seem to be the easiest to get ahold of. (Meaning I don't have to have them shipped from Sweden lol) I was wanting to see what the consensus was on their RS series from people that have had them. How they ride, how low they go, and how they last.

For reference I've ridden in two cars with coilovers: a 6th gen Accord on Tein SSs at a medium stiffness and an Audi on Racelands. The Accord rides amazing in my opinion and the Audi...well doesn't. Haha. I'm fine with stiff, just can't handle bouncy.

    It's a work in progress^

The Accord is closer to maximum stiffness, Jared.

Go for air. I'm in a similar boat looking to get my 09 wagon lower. Currently running cut springs and fresh OE shocks. I know this won't last (rides quite decent considering the amount I cut) so hopefully I have the money aside for air before it let's go. Otherwise I'll write you a review of the d2's.

After some consideration....I don't think I'll be getting coilovers......

They, unfortunately, don't make any for the 9-5. Only the 9-3.
