  • best way to lower an e30

Hey im new here so im not sure if this is the right place but im looking at getting an E30 . the car is going to be a daily driver but really only needs to clear speed bumps with little to no scraping. I would like to go with something static but im not sure whether coilovers or just lowering spring with shocks. General suspension confuses me. I would like to stay away from fabricating or modifying parts and would rather buy a solid setup over time. Any recommendations on specific parts that work well with an E30 and are pretty common. They dont have to be dirt cheap but not obscenely expensive. Hoping someone has the Top Ways to do this.

Has anyone tried getting this kit? http://www.ground-control-store.com/...hp/II=754/CA=8

most people say h&r sport springs and bilstein shocks. how much will that lower the car?

enough to still ride well, enough to look good, but if you're looking to slam your car, then springs won't do you too many favors.

Just going with springs will only lower you enough to get rid of your wheel gap. If you want to be lower than that, you'll need coilovers and to do some cutting/welding

Cut the springs, and get some spacers on ebay.
