  • E36 M3 Coilover Help

I need to get some that will make me super low, I have some, but I'm not low enough. I want to tuck my wheels to where they meet my wheel almost. I know it's stupid, but that's what I like. Help? Here's how it looks now. I have a really shitty pair of coils on now.

honestly if lows what you're after and you don't autoX it or care much about super fast cornering, save some money and go with ultiminos. I had a set on my e36 m3 and they were great. I took out the adjusters in the rear and lowered the front all it could go and it actually rode pretty good. better than any other coilovers I've ever had.

          these are 16s too.

I think these are the e36 set which just required using a sway bar link to link it to the control arm instead of the strut on order to make them work on the m3

You can use the non M end links but your bar will be thinner than designed for non M's and will lose the leverage you get by attatching the m3 sway bar to the strut (the selling point of the M suspension). All that translates to massive understeer. You won't notice it driving to work but you certainly will while doing any spirited driving. In that price range, i think BC makes the best bang for the buck. Hope that helps buddy

Yeah I've seen people slammed with BC's but I've talked to them and they say they only go 3 inches down.. That's how much mine are now and it's not enough

The BCs do go low or you can always get the BCs and then some shortened springs and go as low as you want. LMK we are a BC dealer.
