  • Anyone with a miata on racelands/rokkors

Whats up everybody? I'm joking of course there's people with raceland/rokkors. But I got this issue and don't know what to do, I have rokkors with the helper out and they are spun all the way down. It's a bumpy ride but i'm wondering what would happen if i completely removed the bump stops? people trim em yes but they changed they're shit, they are integrated into the dust guard. they aren't the monsters they used to be. so basically anybody riding slammed without helpers and without bump stops completely?

based on your pic, the rokkors look to have way less threads than i remember having on my racelands. but anyways, to answer your question, not having the bump stop could potentially bottom out the shock and blow the shock. it could even make it so the shock wont even and you would just be hoping the spring was enough to hold the car steady. i would say just trim your bump stop, buy new bump stops and trim them, or (i **** saying this as i would never do it myself unless ABSOLUTELY necessary) raise the car. but you could just ride around on your bumpstops and laugh about how bouncy you are. or invest in some bc, megan, or stance coilovers so you can lower the shock body some to help retain ride quality. if i remember correctly, the lowest guys were on either bc, or stance.
